Annie Lennox

Annie Lennox, born 25th December 1954 in Aberdeen Scotland. Dorothy Farquharson and Thomas Allison Lennox are her parents. Lennox was a student for three years in the Royal Academy of Music London in the 1970s, was admitted. She survived on a student salary and part-time work to help supplement her income. Lennox was not content with her abilities compared to other students at the Royal Academy and began looking at other options. Lennox was a flute player in a 1976 band called Dragons Playground. She quit the band before New Faces, the I.T.V. talent contest. Between 1977 and the year 1980 she sang in The Tourists. A British pop band from the UK. This is where she first met Dave Stewart with whom she will form the pop duo Eurythmics. Following that Lennox began working on her solo first album Diva that was released in 1992. It was a huge success both commercially and critically. Nostalgia Lennoxs sixth solo album debuted in the month of October, 2014. The C.D. Lennox has selected her top jazz, blues and soul tunes. In addition in May 2019 Lennox published Lepidoptera a collection of four improvised piano tracks. The E.P. is a companion piece of her artwork at the Massachusetts Museum of Contemporary Art entitled Now I Let You go... The album is the first time she has released an independent album. Annie Lennox (born December 25 in 1954) is a Scottish musician and political activist. The Tourists had a minor hit in late 1970s. Lennox and Dave Stewart, a fellow musician, went on to achieve international fame in 1990s when they formed the Eurythmics. The year 1992 was the year Lennox started her own solo career with their debut record Diva which yielded numerous successful songs, such as Why and Walking through Broken Glass. Medusa is her album in 1995. studio features covers of the songs No MoreI Love Yous and The Whiter Shade of Pale. Six studio albums of her own as well as a compilation album to her credit.
